| The main focus of my art is, like in Classical Chinese painting, to capture the essence. I believe there can still be visual complexity in simplicity, or else the complexity lies in the meaning behind the drawing. The usual subjects stem from personal, cultural, philosophical, spiritual, or nostalgic elements. Through the development of what is unofficially called "squiggly lines", the form and essence of beauty and nature may be produced without the conventions of outlines or shading. Such works are therefore to be viewed simply for the visual experience without concerning oneself with detailing. I hope everyone can enjoy my style, if not, appreciate the ideas. *ps.
